Expert Roles and Activities in the Ideajalostamo™ Service

The Ideajalostamo™ service, provided by the Invention Foundation, is built on a network of experts who support and assist inventors and innovators in their endeavors. The role of an expert can vary depending on the situation and needs.

Supporting Development Work

Ideajalostamo™ offers support for the development of inventions and innovation concepts in various fields. This work is carried out in collaboration with regional development companies, innovation-supporting organizations, and other funding bodies. The network is not exclusive; instead, it welcomes a broad range of stakeholders interested in fostering innovation in Finnish society—including public entities, private for-profit companies, and third-sector organizations.

Confidentiality

Expert activities within the Ideajalostamo™ service and its various components are strictly confidential. Experts must accept the Invention Foundation’s expert agreement when joining the service. You can find the agreement here: Ideajalostamo™ Expert Agreement.

How to Join as an Expert

The following information is required when joining:

• Personal and contact details (data collection is based on the Invention Foundation’s privacy notice)
• Areas of deep expertise (1–3 topics)
• Areas of broad professional experience (1–3 topics)
• An option for the expert to indicate availability for evaluation tasks
